Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 27, 2026

Fyntoo Field keeps your jobs, photos, signatures, and check-in records on your device. It has no account and no server for your data. The one thing that uses the internet is the map, which loads from an external provider.

Who we are

Fyntoo Field is developed by Nadiia Linyvenko, doing business as LenkoLab, Coimbra, Portugal. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].

What data the app handles

Fyntoo Field is a field-service tool for planning a day's jobs and keeping proof that the work was done. The jobs you create, along with the client details you enter, notes, result photos, on-screen signatures, and check-in records, are stored only in a local database on your device. This data:

Location

Fyntoo Field uses your location only in the foreground, while you are actively using the app: to check in at a job and record that the visit happened at that address, to offer a "use my location" shortcut, to sort jobs by how near they are, and to show your position on the map. The app does not track your location in the background and does not follow your movements between jobs. Your location data is stored on your device with the job and is never sent to us.

The map and the internet

The map inside the app loads its tiles from an external map provider (CARTO). This is the only part of Fyntoo Field that uses the internet. To draw the map, that provider necessarily sees your device's IP address and the area you are looking at, the same as any online map does. Nothing about your jobs, clients, photos, or signatures is sent anywhere as part of this.

Your clients' data

Fyntoo Field lets you store details about your own clients, such as names, phone numbers, emails and addresses, and capture their signature on screen. You remain the owner and controller of that information. It stays on your device under this same policy and is never sent to us. Because you are the one collecting it, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold your clients' data and for telling them how you use it, the same as with any other business record you keep.

Device permissions

Fyntoo Field requests:

Navigation to a job

When you tap to navigate to a job, the job's address is handed to your device's maps application so it can plan the route. From that point, the route is governed by the privacy policy of the maps app you use. Fyntoo Field does not track the journey.

Exporting and sharing

When you export a job report, a CSV of your visits, or photos, the file is generated on your device and handed to the app you choose through your operating system's standard share menu. At that moment the data leaves your device by your choice, and from that point it is governed by the privacy policy of the app you selected. We never receive a copy.

Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device for as long as you keep it. You can delete individual jobs or records inside the app, and uninstalling the app removes all of its data completely. Because we hold no copy of your data, we cannot access, restore, or delete it for you.

Children

Fyntoo Field is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. Since the app collects no data about its user, no personal information from children is processed.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above before the change takes effect.
